The mission of  Information Technology Services is to empower the technology end-users - students, teachers and support staff by:
  • Providing appropriate training, tools and assistance when needed,
  • Ensuring that the district receives the maximum return on its investment in  information and technology resources, and
  • Using those resources effectively to further the district's vision of academic, personal and social success for every student.

The Information Technology Services department at East Side Union High School District manages many of the technical necessities of the School District such as:  
  • Generating student schedules and report cards
  • Providing technical support by phone and e-mail to staff at school sites
  • Providing on-site technical assistance for students and staff
  • Maintaining and protecting student information
  • Producing demographic and progress reports from student data
  • Managing student databases
  • Managing attendance software and providing related support
  • Managing computer networks and resolving network problems
  • Purchasing appropriate equipment to support the schools' technology needs
  • Printing checks and making direct deposits for staff payroll
  • Submitting periodic reports to the state
