Child Nutrition Services (CNS) provides healthy breakfasts, lunchs, suppers and summer meals to the East Side Union High School community. The committed CNS staff provides over 13,000 nutritious meals daily to prepare students for success in the classroom. Menu choices include "made from scratch" meals, healthy grains, cereals, fresh fruits, fresh vegetables, and a variety of vegetarian choices. Several CA state grants have allowed ESUHSD to purchase fresh, locally grown items that are offered on the menu.
ESUHSD menus are comprised to meet state and federal requirements to ensure students are getting the nutrition needed. We are, however, always open to menu suggestions. Please feel free to email cns@esuhsd.org with menu suggestions. We strive to add suggestions when we can formulate them to meet the requirements laid out by the state and federal governments.
REMEMBER ------> Breakfast is the most important meal of the day! It is available every school day at all ESUHSD locations. Breakfast menu can be found on the Menus page. Both hot and cold items are available.
